Am 26. Juni 2015 brachen erneut einige deutsche und russiche Gänseforscher gemeinsam in die Brutgebiete der Wildgänse in der Barentssee auf. Ziel war es diesmal, gemeinsam mit einem 5köpfigen Filmteam eine Dokumentation über das Brutgeschehen vor Ort zu drehen.
Die Aktion begann mit Sturm und Regen, so dass sich der Abflug von Nayarn-Mar um einen Tag verzögerte, weil der Helikopter nicht starten durfte. Wieder führte die Reise über das russisch-niederländische Forschungscamp in Tobseda, wo einige Leute abgesetzt und aufgenommen sowie neue Vorräte überbracht wurden.

On 26th June 2015 a group of Russian and German goose researchers started to goose breedings grounds on Kolguev again. This time the main focus was on a documentation produced by a 5 person TV team accompanied the researchers.
This <year we had one day delay: our take-off was moved for a day because of heavy storm and rain. Once again we shared our flight with Dutch and Russian collegues who wanted to go to Tobseda, the researchers station on the mainland opposite of Kolugev.

Von Tobseda führte der Flug diesmal zunächst an die Westküste, um die schroffe Steilküste dort zu besuchen. Obwohl die Insel aus Sand und Lehm besteht, entstehen hier durch den permanenten Wellengang bis zu 30m hohe und steile Kliffs, die mehr und mehr von der See abgetragen werden, während an der Ostseite der Insel immer neue Sandbänke und Schwemmland entsteht.
Für eine Landung bliebt allerdings leider aufgrund der Laufzeiten des Helikopters keine Zeit.

This time we flew from Tobseda not direct way to our campsite: we flew along the west coast to visit the steep cliffs there. Though the island is build from sand and loam, up to 30m high cliffs can be found at the west coast where the sea removes soil by every storm. At the east coast the ground sediments again and builds large flat wetlands, lagoons and wadden.
Unfortunatly we were not able to land there while helikopter got in trouble of timing.

Ungefähr 8km von unserem 2012er Camp liegt das kleine Dorf Balki-Mart, eine weitere temporär genutzte Hüttenansammlung am Zugweg der Rentiere. Ein kleiner Fluss verläuft unterhalb des Dorfs. An den Nordhängen dieses Tales fanden wir am 2. Juli tatsächlich noch große Schneefelder vor. Ein kühles Frühjahr also. Zu unserer Überraschung hatte eine Kolonie von Weißwangengänse sich unter dem Schutz der Eismöwen auf den Hüttendächern im Dorf angesiedelt und so mussten wir mit unseren Zelten an den Ortsrand wechseln. So konnten wir leider auch die Hütten nicht nutzen. Andererseits fanden wir so herausragende Bedingungen vor, um die Gänse beim Brutgeschäft zu beobachten und zu filmen.

Approximatly 8km away from the 2012 camp we placed camp of 2015 at the Nenets settlement Balki-Mart. A small creek flows along the cabins. Surprisingly we found a colony of Barnacle Goose breeding in between the village protected by Glacous Gulls breeding on the roofs of the houses, so we had to put up our tents outsite the village and were not able to use the cabins. On the other hand: we had best opportunities to film breeding Barnacles
