Overview about our "stars"
![]() |
For our studies we decided to select only heavy males from the flocks of captured birds. The heavier the bird, the lower the influence of the additional load of the transmitter on the body condition and survival of the bird. We also considered the possibility of the transmitter being an additional danger for a breeding female on the nest.
Below you`ll find links to all the "personal" web sites of our transmittered geese, showing you their migration routes and additional information about sightings. In some cases, we have photos of the bird and information about his mate(s) and numbers of young. If you observe a transmittered bird, please inform us!
